THE ROLE
We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong work ethic to join Sunsel Systems as a permanent, full-time Shipping/Receiving Clerk.
The role is responsible for the safe, efficient packing and shipping of Sunsel Systems’ quality manufactured PCBs. The shipments must be properly labelled and tracked to ensure safe and timely delivery. The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is also responsible for receiving large deliveries and must coordinate with all necessary department managers as well as other relevant contacts.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Candidates must be dependable, reliable and organized.
Duties include:
- EDS and impact safe packaging of products to avoid damage while in transit as well as the use of specific packaging for particular companies.
- Experience with depanelization of PCBs.
- Receiving of goods and delivery to appropriate departments
- Documenting and logging of product serial numbers into Shipping Log
- Proper labelling for all packages
- Selection and review of appropriate shipping methods for specific clients
- Inspection of all goods received for damages or indiscretions upon receipt
- Preparation of customer invoices with accurate pricing, content and shipping information.
- The preparation of all necessary shipping documents and records.
- Knowledge of and adherence to customer deadlines for all products
- Extensive knowledge of shipping procedures and delivery companies including Export documentation, Commodity codes, Certificates of Shipment, Bills of Leading and Customs documents.
- Knowledge of Invoicing programs and procedures
- Knowledge of and experience with ERP systems
- Proficient with MS Outlook, Word and Excel
The Shipping/Receiving Clerk must demonstrate the following skills:
