We are looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time Registered Kinesiologist to join our interdisciplinary team at our Vancouver, and possibly Surrey, location. If you have experience in concussion rehabilitation and a love for all things neuro, then this is the job for you!

ABOUT ADVANCE CONCUSSION CLINIC
ACC, British Columbia's Only Dedicated Concussion Clinic, is composed of an interdisciplinary team of specialists that provide evidence-based care using the most advanced knowledge on concussion. We work with leading universities, sports teams and technology providers to advance concussion care in British Columbia. We are committed to educate, collaborate, better inform and improve concussion care and management in our B.C. community. Our team of fifteen is composed by concussion specialists trained in health psychology, neuropsychology, occupational therapy, kinesiology, counselling, and physiotherapy.
Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will be joining our concussion-specialized team of therapists. This opportunity will teach you to provide expert care in concussion rehabilitation, while leveraging emerging research, driving the practice of concussion treatment forward. ACC is British Columbia's first dedicated Concussion Clinic and we are deeply passionate about delivering the highest level of concussion care to our patients and making a positive impact on the broader community.

Key Duties & Responsibilities include:
● Providing assessment as part of the interdisciplinary team towards treatment planning for oculomotor, vestibular, and autonomic impairments associated with concussive injuries, as well as associated neurological, medical, and musculoskeletal conditions
● Completion of reports to communicate assessment findings,treatment planning and progress updates with collaborative partners and insurance funders to best support client care.
● Collaborating with the team to facilitate the optimization of the service provided
● Ensuring protocols and policies are followed to maintain patient confidentiality
● Creating and delivering exceptional customer service standards
● Fostering a vibrant, collaborative, and upbeat work environment
● Implementing a culture of best-practice service, accountability and performance
● Nurturing and developing a client-centric, positive, health-focused and vibrant work culture
● Participate in the management of the facilities to ensure an efficient and organized use of the space
Qualifications include:
● Practical experience working in a clinic environment providing Kinesiology services
● Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology or related degree
● Current and valid registration with BCAK (in good standing)
● Previous experience working in a dynamic interdisciplinary setting
● Training and/or experience in Vestibular Rehabilitation, Oculomotor Assessment and Retraining, Musculoskeletal Assessment and Treatment, and Exercise Physiology
- Professional liability insurance
- Minimum one year experience with concussion population
Skills include:
● Motivation to learn about comprehensive concussion care
● Driven to deliver excellent patient care under a client-centric service model
● Desire to work within an interdisciplinary clinic environment
● Time management and accountability for patient recovery
● Fluency in English: excellent writing and communication skills
● Knowledge of Client Management Software, Jane, is a plus
● Adherence to ACC policies and protocols, including client confidentiality

● Able to work autonomously and in an interdisciplinary team
Compensation package: This is a full-time/part-time position with a competitive compensation package based on qualifications and performance, including extended health benefits, paid vacation time, professional development allowances, and team activities in and outside of the office.
