DUTIES: The successful candidate will provide overall systems analysis and design expertise in the deployment of PeopleSoft Finance functionality for the college including identifying functional requirements in the Finance functional areas; facilitates scoping and planning sessions in the Finance functional areas; facilitates configuration workshops to determine configuration of various PeopleSoft Finance modules; develops configuration roadmaps for required PeopleSoft Finance functionality; oversees the implementation of required PeopleSoft functionality in various Finance functional areas; liaises with functional employees and technical staff in the implementation of identified PeopleSoft Finance functionality; shares with technical staff in duties associated with the provision of functional support to administrative users via the College's support service; shares with technical staff and functional employees in the development of PeopleSoft reports, interfaces, and customizations as required; supports the development and deployment of other provincial software solutions as required. Knowledge of project management and the system development lifecycle is required.
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must possess a university degree or college diploma in software development; at least 3 years experience working in PeopleSoft Finance in higher education; a proven track record in working with higher education administrative users in the development of Finance business solutions; and appropriate extensive experience in PeopleSoft Finance development using PeopleSoft Application Designer. The successful candidate must also be a highly motivated individual who can work independently, and who possesses strong interpersonal, analytical, communication, and organizational skills together with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and colleagues.
