About the Role
SafetyCo is hiring a Site Safety Officer for a 3-month construction project in Bolton. This role is ideal for a safety professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is confident managing site-level safety compliance and inspections.You will work closely with project teams, project owners and sub-contractors to maintain a safe and compliant work environment while promoting a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily site inspections and hazard identification
- Ensure compliance with OHSA and construction regulations
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety orientations
- Work with contractors and supervisors to address safety concerns
- Maintain documentation, reports, and incident records
- Support audits and regulatory inspections
- Track Hot work permits, roof access permits, confined space permits
- Manage SPA's
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-5 years of construction safety experience
- Solid understanding of Ontario safety legislation
- Strong reporting and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in an active construction environment
- NCSO designation considered an asset

Certification:
- CHSO, CRSP or other recognized Safety Designation (preferred)
- First Aid / CPR / AED Certification (preferred)
- WAH Certificate (preferred)
- Construction based background and/or automotive background (preferred)

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
