Braai House is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Sous Chef to join our team.
The ideal candidate for this position has a background in the kitchen, with 3 or so years of experience. They enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and are capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. A successful candidate will have a passion for food prep, a desire to work with a small team and make excellent tip-out.
Responsibilities:
- Reports to the head chef
- Assist in the preparation of the chef's menu.
- Ensure that all food is prepared according to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
- Develop new recipes and menus.
- Monitor inventory of ingredients and supplies.
- Assist in menu planning and cost control.
- Be awesome in front of our guests.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
