Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients to ensure efficient meal preparation.
- Cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards, maintaining consistency and quality.
- Assist in food plating and presentation to ensure visually appealing dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Support the kitchen team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of supplies needed.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
Requirements
- Prior experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Basic understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed.
