About Us
Locke Minor Foot Surgery & Orthotics is a growing, multidisciplinary foot clinic focused on delivering advanced, evidence-based footcare. Our clinic combines medical expertise with modern treatment modalities, including medical therapies, biomechanics, and minor surgical procedures.
We are seeking a Esthetician or Foot Care Nurse with experience in footcare to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about patient care, enjoys hands-on treatments, and is looking to expand their clinical skillset in a medical environment.
We have two locations @ 460 Main St. E and 980 Queenston Road.
Key Responsibilities
Footcare & Clinical Treatments
- Perform fungal nail laser treatments & various other modalities
- Provide medical pedicures including nail care, callus reduction, and skin maintenance
- Assist with clinical modalities and support the chiropodist during treatments
- Educate patients on foot health, prevention, and post-treatment care
- Recognize and understand common foot conditions such as fungal nails, calluses, corns, and ingrown toenails
- Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system
Infection Control & Clinical Standards
- Perform sterilization, autoclaving, and proper instrument reprocessing
- Maintain treatment rooms and equipment to medical-grade cleanliness standards
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control protocols
Patient Experience & Growth
- Deliver exceptional customer service to build patient trust and retention
- Recommend appropriate products and services to support treatment outcomes
- Contribute to the growth of fungal nail laser and medical footcare services within the clinic
Reception & Administrative Support (as needed)
- Greet and check in patients
- Book and manage appointments
- Answer phone and email inquiries
- Process payments and assist with front desk coordination
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Esthetician (Ontario) or Foot Care Nurse
- Strong interest in footcare, medical treatments, and patient education
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Detail-oriented with strong hygiene and organizational practices
- Experience with laser treatments is an asset (training available)
- Prior clinic or medical setting experience is an asset
Schedule
- Flexible scheduling (Part-Time or Full-Time)
- Weekday shifts (typically 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
- Saturdays as required (typically in the Fall & Winter seasons)
Compensation
- Approx. $125-250 per day (based on experience)
- 3-month probation period
- Ongoing training in clinical treatments and laser therapy
- Opportunity for growth into expanded clinical responsibilities

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $125.00-$250.00 per day
