Job Overview
We are seeking a caring and responsible Home Childcare Provider/Nanny to provide attentive and nurturing care for children in a home setting. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment that promotes the well-being and development of children. This role requires a compassionate individual with strong caregiving skills, patience, and a genuine love for working with children.
Duties
- Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure safety at all times
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and naptime
- Engage children in educational and recreational activities that promote learning and development
- Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning up after children and maintaining a tidy environment
- Support children with homework or learning activities as needed
- Provide care for children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring their comfort and inclusion
- Foster positive behavior and social skills through guidance and encouragement
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, needs, and any concerns
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children, including infants or toddlers, is preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and reliability
- Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children
- Knowledge of basic cleaning practices to maintain a hygienic environment
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and children
- Certification in CPR or first aid is advantageous but not required; willingness to obtain certification is expected
- Must be responsible, punctual, and able to adapt to the needs of the family and children served
Pay: $17.20-$35.87 per hour
