The Vancouver Lawn Tennis & Badminton Club (“the Club”) is the city’s premier racquets, fitness, and social Club. Located just a few minutes from downtown, the Club offers exceptional tennis, badminton, squash, fitness and aquatics programming for over 4,000 members, along with a variety of social events with upscale-casual dining in 3 restaurants.
We are currently recruiting for a Part-time Overnight Housekeeper to join our team! Shifts are from 10:00pm to 6:30am. Approximately 3 shifts per week, including weekends, with a variable schedule based on business needs. This could grow based on vacation or holiday coverage needs.
ABOUT THE POSITION
We pride ourselves to provide effective and high quality service to our members. We look for individuals who are committed team players and can be relied upon by others. The main duties include:
- Cleaning and sanitizing washrooms, locker rooms, including showers, vanities, toilets and dusting ledges
- Dusting and vacuuming public spaces
- Glass cleaning
- Cleaning of Squash Courts
- Emptying Garbage
- Assisting in setting up functions (moving furniture)
- Wage is $ 22.86 per hour + premium for working overnights.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 to 2 years' janitorial / cleaning experience
- Previous experience working in a private club or hotel an asset
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- Positive and hardworking attitude, reliable and can be counted on
