Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate high school and Ap math & physics &English eacher to inspire and educate young learners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in math degree or physics or engish education degree who own BC teaching certification and experience working with children. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students' academic and social development. The teacher will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students, utilizing effective communication skills and innovative teaching methods to ensure student success.
Duties
- Rich experience of Ap math or physics or English
- Facilitate classroom activities that promote learning in subjects such as Math, literacy, and social skills.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback
- Must be native speaker and have Bc teacher certification
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support students with diverse needs, including those requiring special education accommodations.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) for record-keeping, lesson delivery, and communication with students and parents.
- Proofread instructional materials for accuracy and clarity to ensure high-quality content delivery.
- Provide tutoring sessions or additional support as needed to help students achieve their academic goals.
- Prefer ubc or Toronto or waterloo university graduation
Skills
- Strong background in early childhood education and working with children of various ages.
- Proven classroom experience with the ability to manage diverse learning needs effectively.
- Proficiency in teaching core subjects such as Math and literacy.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience with LMS platforms for online or blended learning environments.
- Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate educational best practices.
- Knowledge of special education strategies to support inclusive learning environments.
- Strong organizational skills, including proofreading instructional materials for accuracy.
