Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our growing team. We are expanding our services and seeking a motivated technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Candidates with, mechanical background, diesel experience, expertise in heavy and industrial equipment, are highly encouraged to apply.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair cars, light & medium duty trucks, and company fleet vehicles
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and inspections.
- Conduct brake, steering, suspension, and exhaust repairs
- Diagnose electrical and drivability concerns
- Operate industrial equipment safely when necessary for repair or maintenance tasks.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines.
- Complete vehicle inspections
Skills
- Licensed Automotive Service Technician
- Apprentice Technicians are encouraged to apply
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshoot skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for industrial equipment and heavy-duty vehicles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Customer service skills for effective communication with clients about repairs and services.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Valid drivers license
- MVI inspection license is an asset
