Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and proactive Aide-serveur (Bus Boy/Bus Girl) to support our restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment. The ideal candidate will assist servers by clearing tables, refilling supplies, and ensuring guest satisfaction through excellent customer service. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Duties
- Clearing and cleaning tables promptly to maintain a tidy dining area
- Replenishing utensils, napkins, and condiments for guest convenience
- Assisting with setting up tables before service begins
- Supporting servers with delivering food and beverages when needed
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the dining area, including sweeping floors and wiping surfaces
- Assisting with kitchen or storage area organization as required
- Communicating effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow
- Adhering to food handling and safety standards at all times
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality industries is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and food handling practices is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with team members and guests
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Willingness to learn about food service operations and customer service excellence
