We are seeking a high-performing Group Fitness Instructor who is:

Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers into the fitness studio and ensure they feel valued and comfortable.
- Conduct a variety of fun and dynamic fitness classes, catering to different age groups and fitness levels.
- Open to front desk coverage/admin support (optional)
- Deliver training and classes effectively and safely, providing alternative exercise techniques as needed.
- Ensure all sessions and classes start on time and communicate facility and program information to customers.
- Document and relay patron feedback to the Fitness Manager to continuously improve the quality of services.
- Implement first aid procedures when required to ensure the safety of participants.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, fostering a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Hold recognized Group Fitness/Specialty Certifications that include Pilates, Yoga, Zumba, fitness based, AFLCA, Canfit Pro or equivalent.
- Current Standard First Aid with CPR/AED; A degree in Recreation, Kinesiology, Physical Education.
- Certifications and other licenses are considered an asset like TRX, FMS, High Performance, and Older Adult.
- Exceptional customer service: 2 years focus, good organizational skills, and the ability to work autonomously and as a team member.
- A current (within 6 months) Police Clearance Screening is required upon hire;
- Good working knowledge and use of various software applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Wellness Living.
- Hours of work for this position are irregular and vary by program and client appointments (includes days, evenings, and weekends).
