Position Details
Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking Journeyperson Plumber for work at our Compost project in Calgary, AB.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement
What You Will Be Working On
- Install, repair, and maintain piping systems, fixtures, valves, and related equipment in an industrial setting.
- Interpret blueprints, isometrics, P&IDs, and specifications to plan and lay out work
- Complete pressure testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning tasks as required.
- Work with various pipe materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and HDPE.
- Adhere to all safety requirements, work procedures, and site-specific protocols.
- Collaborate with supervisors, general forepersons, and other trades to meet project timelines.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Complete required documentation (FLHAs, permits, inspections, work orders).
What We Are Looking For
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- H2S Awareness
- ESC Fall Protection
- Valid Journeyperson certificate in the trade of Plumbing
- Minimum 2 years of experience working commercial or infrastructure projects
- Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions
- The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
- Must have at least 2 years of commercial experience
- Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
