What will you work on?
This position will report to the Brand Finance Manager and will be responsible for supporting the North American Brand Finance Team. Key responsibilities include maintaining brand finance forecast models, analyzing profitability of potential new products, and providing sales and profitability reporting to cross-functional teams.
How will you create impact?
Partner with brand marketing and procurement to provide financial forecasts for new products and merchandising displays for the Vendor Cost Approval (VCA) and Capital Expense Approval (CEA) processes.
Coordinate VCA and CEA processes to ensure financial forecasts for all the markets are run in a timely manner.
Act as a go-to person on all VCA/CEA related matters for all stakeholders across the organization and provide training as needed.
Maintain a database of new products and their associated production machinery expenditures.
Partner with brand marketing teams to maintain and assist them with their financial forecast models.
Produce sales and profitability reports for brand finance and cross-functional teams.
Assist in maintaining the Global product price database.
Assist brand finance in scrutinizing and updating key product cost drivers used in financial forecast models.
Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support the brand finance team

Ability to distill large amounts of data into meaningful insights; understand the audience and provide the right level of detail and analytics
Highly proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and V-lookups
Excellent attention to detail with a strong emphasis on accuracy
High sense of urgency and time management
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests with shifting timelines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Passionate, highly driven, willingness to learn, with an open mindset
Demonstrated judgment, influence, leadership, strategic thinking
A high degree of flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands of business partners
The ability to create an environment that fosters innovation and automation
What are your skills and experience?
University degree in commerce or related field.
High proficiency in Excel and other MS Office programs.
Demonstrated business partnership building.
2+ years of post-qualification related experience in a financial planning and analysis role an asset.
Knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting
