Located in Port Coquitlam, BC, Imagenex is an innovative company that designs and manufactures sonar equipment, including multibeam, mechanical scanning, and sidescan sonars for use primarily in commercial, industrial, inspection, and research applications.
We are seeking a reliable, adaptable, and detail-oriented person for an opening as an Electronics and Mechanical Assembler. Our ideal candidate communicates well in English, both verbally and in writing.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Solder and manually assemble various electronic components
- Solder and assemble multiwire assemblies, stripping wires, etc.
- Install and encapsulate various components with epoxy and other compounds
- Assemble various electronics sub-assemblies
Requirements:
- Must have soldering experience
- Experience soldering ceramic transducers would be preferred
- Should be able to use a multi-meter
- Experience with typical electronics assembly tools
- Must be organized with good verbal skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
