Role Overview
Lani Levy is the host of The Gettin Chai Podcast, an entrepreneur, storyteller, and community builder with a background in sales, marketing, and fashion. Lani is a strategic growth leader and has built various businesses throughout her career. Her work has been shaped by a strong commitment to social impact, creating spaces and conversations that foster connection, inclusion, and meaningful change.
Through her company, Unhinged Media Inc. the owner of her podcast, she leads thoughtful, intimate conversations rooted in curiosity, reflection, and perspective. Known for her engagement, warmth, insight, and humor, Lani brings a grounded, human lens to discussions with her valued guests, inviting audiences to engage more deeply with what truly matters and informs.
Lani is building a growing personal brand alongside her podcast. In addition, she is a mother of 3 boys ages 5, 7, and 9 with a busy household and social calendar.
Lani is seeking a highly organized, creative, and proactive executive personal assistant to support her across all areas of her life.
This is a blended role combining administrative support with creative execution. The successful candidate will help keep a busy household and professional schedule running smoothly while also supporting podcast production, digital content creation, and social media growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast paced environments, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and wants to grow alongside a growth oriented media brand.
Key Responsibilities
Operations and Administration
Manage complex calendars, scheduling, and coordination across family and professional commitments.
Handle logistics such as travel planning, appointments, errands, and ongoing task tracking.
Maintain organization across notes, priorities, and systems to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Act as a key connector by following up on actions, summarizing information, and keeping initiatives moving.
Support executive functioning by helping translate ideas into clear next steps.
Creative and Brand Support
Assist with podcast production including preparation, recording day coordination, and post recording follow up.
Create quick turnaround digital assets such as graphics, short form videos, and social media posts.
Support content planning and execution across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Stay current on social media trends, formats, and digital tools to support brand growth.
Help maintain brand consistency while reflecting the founder’s voice, tone, and energy.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working independently. They are confident communicating ideas, providing input, and constructively pushing back when appropriate. They are adaptable, flexible, and comfortable in a dynamic household and entrepreneurial environment.
This role is not age specific, but candidates must be current with technology, social media, and modern media culture. Cultural fit is critical. The right person will be engaged, creative, resilient, and not easily offended.
Skills and Experience
Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience supporting or creating digital content. Familiarity with tools such as CapCut is an asset.
Working knowledge of major social media platforms and content formats.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Podcast experience is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with productivity and note taking tools is helpful.
Formal titles, previous company names, or specific podcast technology experience are less important than capability, mindset, and fit.
Work Style and Location
This is a hybrid role based in Toronto. Approximately fifty percent of the role will be in person at the founder’s home for podcast and creative work, with the remaining time remote for administrative and planning tasks. Some flexibility is available for more remote administrative work. Candidates must be comfortable working from a private home environment. Childcare is not part of this role, as a full-time nanny is already in place.
Compensation
Compensation is flexible for the right candidate. Quality, reliability, and cultural alignment are a priority.

Pay: $45,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON (York District)
