Job Title: Election Campaign Volunteer (Unpaid)

What you will do:
- Work in collaboration with a small team to spread awareness of the campaign's priorities
- Assist in community outreach, phone banking, flyer distribution, conducting community survey, and social media support.
- Walk assigned neighbourhoods to speak face-to-face with community members, and hand out campaign flyers
- Engage with the public to share information about the candidate and the campaign
- Support the development of outreach materials and social media content to maximize outreach efforts
- Represent the campaign at public speaking engagements, fairs, or community gatherings or events with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Inform community members about their voting rights, and securing commitments from supporters to take and display lawn signs in support of the campaign.
- Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach approaches and improve community engagement
- Help place and track campaign lawn signs across the community
Who we are looking for:
- Enthusiastic, friendly individuals with strong communication skills
- people comfortable speaking face-to-face with community members.
- Passion for local community engagements, and political process
- Reliability and dedication to scheduled volunteer shifts
- Adaptability to various settings and willingness to learn new outreach strategies
- Multilingual skills are an asset but not a mandatory requirement. Chinese speakers are encouraged to apply.
Schedule and Commitment:
- Flexible shifts are available (Weekdays, evenings, and weekends).
- We welcome any time you can give, whether it is 2 hours a week or 25 hours/week
