Hot Tub Sales & Yard Operations Associate
Full-Time | $25–30/hour + Commission | Sarnia, ON

Since 1999, South West Fence & Deck has grown from a two-person operation run out of a pickup truck into a team of 50+ with over 6,500 completed projects across Southwestern Ontario. We build complete backyards — decks, fences, pools, hot tubs, and more — and we’ve earned our reputation by doing things the right way. This role sits right at the heart of that product offering.
The Role
This is a dual role for someone who’s equally comfortable closing a hot tub sale and getting their hands dirty in the yard. You’ll help customers find the right leisure products, build your product knowledge, and own the sales experience from first conversation to delivery. When you’re not with a customer, you’re keeping the yard organized, supporting the team, and making sure operations run smoothly. No two days look exactly the same — and that’s the point.

What You’ll Do
Sales & Customer Support (Primary)
- Help customers select hot tubs, swim spas, saunas, and related leisure products
- Build and maintain product knowledge across our full leisure lineup including chemicals and accessories
- Order and track incoming product
- Support hot tub service coordination and customer follow-up
- Coordinate deliveries with internal teams to ensure smooth scheduling
Yard Operations Support
- Help keep the shop and yard organized and running smoothly
- Assist with moving materials and maintaining inventory
- Run deliveries to crews or customers as needed
- Pitch in wherever the team needs support
What You Bring
Required:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized with strong attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn product knowledge and sales processes
Assets (Not Required):
- Sales experience, especially in retail or high-value products
- Experience with hot tubs, leisure products, or building materials
- Experience with inventory or general yard operations
Compensation & Benefits
- $25–30/hour based on experience
- Commission structure based on sales performance
- Full-time, permanent position
