Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, and serve food and beverages promptly using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and adhere to food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, dining spaces, and kitchen equipment in compliance with health standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through friendly suggestions.
- Support food industry best practices by handling food safely, managing time effectively during busy hours, and providing excellent guest services.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and a positive environment for both guests and staff.
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
- Understanding of food handling, sanitation procedures, and basic math for cash handling and order accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Kitchen experience or hospitality background is beneficial but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
