Job Description:

Safely drive and maneuver heavy-duty rock trucks to transport and dump materials exactly where directed on the job site.

Conduct rigorous pre-trip and post-trip circle checks to ensure tires, fluids, brakes, and lights are safe and functional.

Ensure trucks are loaded efficiently, distributing weight evenly for safety and compliance.

Maintain constant radio contact with dispatch, supervisors, and other heavy equipment operators (like excavators and dozers) to coordinate loading and dumping spots.

Perform routine preventative maintenance such as greasing components, cleaning windows and mirrors, and completing basic fluid top-ups.

Must be willing to labour when not driving.
Experience and Certification Requirements:

A minimum of 3-5 years of driving experience required.

CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, and Ground Disturbance safety Tickets required.

A valid Alberta drivers license required.

A driver's abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date.

A reliable means of transportation is required.

Proficient English language skills required.
Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
