Part-time care for mid-65 year old paraplegic lady with rheumatoid arthritis and scoliosis.
Duties include:
- Operation of ceiling transfer lift and sling
- Assistance with morning/evening routine (commode and catheter care, personal care, dressing/undressing)
- Wound care
- Shower, hair drying and styling
- Using lift for positioning and adjusting while in wheelchair and bed.
- Preparation of breakfast, and food preparation as time allows (lunch, supper or baked goods), dishwasher and light housekeeping such laundry, sweep floors, etc.
Must have experience operating a ceiling transfer lift. A good sense of body anatomy for straight and accurate positioning is a must.
Currently hiring for morning, afternoon and/or evening shifts. Morning shifts 6:30 AM - 4 hours, afternoon 1:00 PM - 3 hours and evening 8:00 PM - 3 hours. 7 days a week. Flexible scheduling.
Prior patient care experience is essential. Must love dogs. Transportation to my house a must. Bus schedule will not accommodate early hours.
