Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Landscape Construction Foreman/woman to lead and oversee landscape construction projects from start to finish. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise landscape construction crews, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate project schedules, materials, and equipment to meet deadlines and budget requirements.
- Oversee installation of features such as irrigation systems, planting beds, hardscapes, and other landscape elements.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout each project phase to maintain high standards.
- Provide mentorship and training to crew members in horticulture practices, construction techniques, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape construction or related construction fields with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening techniques, horticulture principles, and landscape maintenance.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Familiarity with construction processes including site preparation, hardscape installation, and planting.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license; relevant certifications in irrigation or horticulture are a plus.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
