Field Operations Crew Members (Multiple Positions)

Positions Include
- Surface Drainage Scraper Operator
- Subsurface Drain Tile Crew (Plow, Backhoe, Stringer Tractor, Excavator, and Pipe Connections)
- HercBASE Installation Crew
Successful candidates will be willing and able to work across all three divisions as business needs require. Cross-training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a diverse skill set in agricultural construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare job sites by loading, transporting, and unloading equipment, materials, and tools.
- Safely operate heavy equipment, machinery, power tools, and other construction equipment.
- Assist with installation of agricultural drainage systems and HercBASE projects.
- Read and follow site plans, specifications, and supervisor instructions.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and care of equipment and tools.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work effectively as part of a team while maintaining productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Use basic mathematics to calculate grades, elevations, measurements, quantities, and production requirements.
- Utilize tablets, GPS equipment, and construction software as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's licence or the ability to obtain one.
- Previous construction, agricultural, or heavy equipment experience is considered an asset but is not required.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to:
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Climb ladders and equipment.
- Work in and around excavations and trenches.
- Walk long distances over uneven terrain.
- Frequently bend, kneel, stoop, and perform physically demanding work.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Schedule & Travel

- Ability to work extended hours, overtime, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home as project demands require.
