About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented accounting professional to support a confidential group of investment, operating, and holding companies.
This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple entities and gain exposure to financial reporting, investments, cash management, payroll administration, and advisor coordination. The role is well suited to a CPA candidate, designated CPA, or experienced accounting professional seeking a flexible, long-term opportunity with meaningful responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Maintain bookkeeping and accounting records across multiple entities
- Prepare bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
- Process accounts payable, expense reimbursements, and vendor payments
- Support payroll administration and related reporting
- Assist with monthly and annual financial reporting
- Track cash flow and maintain accurate supporting documentation
- Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisors, legal counsel, and financial institutions
- Assist with investment-related administration, including capital calls, distributions, and reporting packages
- Maintain organized and audit-ready financial records
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
Qualifications
- CPA designation or CPA program enrolment is an asset
- Minimum 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Strong working knowledge of Xero
- Experience preparing financial reports and reconciliations
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Multi-entity accounting experience
- Alternative investment, private equity, venture capital, real estate, or fund administration experience
- Experience with Masttro or similar reporting platforms
- Experience within a public practice, investment office, private wealth, or complex corporate environment
