Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Landscaping Operations Manager / Supervisor to lead and oversee our landscaping projects and maintenance services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of horticulture, irrigation, and landscape maintenance, and the ability to supervise a team effectively. This role involves coordinating daily operations, ensuring quality standards, and implementing efficient landscaping solutions to meet client expectations. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate landscaping projects, including planting, pruning, mowing, and landscape maintenance activities
- Oversee irrigation systems installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal operation
- Lead a team of technicians and crew members, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations
- Plan and schedule daily operations to meet project deadlines and client requirements
- Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide expert recommendations
- Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and materials necessary for landscape projects
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work performed
- Assist in construction activities related to landscape features such as patios, walkways, or retaining walls when necessary
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supervising landscaping or horticultural teams with strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening techniques, horticulture principles, and landscape maintenance practices
- Experience with construction related to outdoor environments is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills for effective team coordination and client interactions
- Ability to troubleshoot landscape issues efficiently and implement practical solutions
- Prior supervisory experience in a landscaping or related field is highly desirable
- Relevant certifications or training in horticulture, landscape management, or construction are a plus
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
