Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of construction, including, framing, siding soffit fascia, drywall. trim, doors, and paint. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and the use of hand and power tools to complete diverse projects efficiently and safely. The will play a vital role in delivering high-quality craftsmanship on residential and commercial sites, ensuring all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
Duties
- Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute construction projects accurately.
- Perform framing, finishing, and related tasks with precision.
- Operate power tools safely to assist in building structures, installing siding, or performing restoration work.
- Utilize hand tools and woodworking skills for framing, carpentry, or custom projects.
- Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure safe and efficient workflow.
- Apply knowledge of construction safety protocols throughout all activities.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with knowledge of framinng, siding, carpentry,, and woodworking.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and power tools safely.
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and protocols.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in demanding environments for extended periods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Prior experience working on residential or commercial construction sites is preferred.
