About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking 2 experienced Senior Accountant (CPA) to join its Finance team. This position is ideal for a dedicated, hands-on accountant who enjoys producing accurate financial results, thrives in a collaborative team environment, and takes pride in the technical aspects of accounting rather than client-facing responsibilities.
This role reports to CFO (Chief Financial Officer)

Compensation & Benefits

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post complex journal entries and adjusting entries.
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- Assist with financial statement preparation and internal reporting.
- Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support external audits and year-end working papers.
- Maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Collaborate closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and other finance team members.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies.
- Perform additional accounting duties as required.
Qualifications
- CPA designation (required).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a Senior Accountant or similar role.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience in full-cycle accounting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Extensive experience preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end adjustments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collaborative team player who enjoys working in a supportive finance environment.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
