The Opportunity
Mission Creek Landing is one of Kelowna's most established long-term care communities, nestled in a park-like setting beside Mission Creek Regional Park. For over 45 years, we've provided a safe, dignified home for seniors who can no longer live independently.
Now, we're entering our biggest chapter yet. We're expanding from 132 to 242 beds in Summer 2026 with new state-of-the-art equipment, and we're looking for Cooks who want to grow with us.

What Your Days Will Look Like
- Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and dietary requirements
- Modify textures (Pureed, minced, soft diets) and accommodate restrictions
- Ensuring proper portioning, presentation, and meal timing
- Work collaboratively with dietary aides, nursing staff and dieticians
- Monitor inventory- assist with ordering and food storage
- Follow established policies and provincial health regulations
- Upholding resident rights, dignity, confidentiality, and independence every single shift
What You Bring
- Valid Food Safe Certification
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently, take direction, and adapt with flexibility
- Experience in healthcare, hospitality or institutional cooking
- Successful Criminal Record Check (vulnerable sector)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
