Cargill AgHorizons is the division of the company dedicated to creating value for agricultural producers, specifically grain and oilseed growers in the Prairies and Ontario. This division leads the industry in providing innovations in the areas of grain origination, agronomic and grain marketing consulting, and crop input supplies. Professionally trained customer focus teams work one-on-one with their producer customers, building long-term relationships-striving to understand their farming business and providing distinctive solutions, matched to their unique needs.

Reporting to the Customer Service Center (CSC) Leader, you are accountable for supporting the Farm Service Groups in the Regions and our farm customers in the accurate and timely processing of documents and transactions. The primary focus is providing superior service to ensure customer satisfaction through accurate and timely processing of contract administration or settlements to our farm customers. You will ensure execution is in accordance with the established standards, guidelines and service level agreements which supports a positive experience for our farm customer.

Principal Accountabilities

85% - Process business transactions timely and accurately. This position is accountable to ensure financial records are current, inventory is up to date and customer accounts are accurate. They are required to understand the nature of the transactions processed and the impact of transactions on to our retail customers.

10%- Working directly with the Customer Relations Team in the Canada Customer Service Center to successfully execute grain contracts or settlements and payments.

5% - Additional administrative support duties as required.


Required Qualifications
  • High school degree.
  • At least 1+ year of experience in related roles.
  • Intermediate level of knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada.

  • Understanding of agriculture practices and challenges.

  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail, and processing accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to process transactions timely against key metrics, benchmarks and service level agreements.
