Job Overview
We make plastic products and ship them to industrial customers across North America. Our North Bay warehouse keeps that supply chain moving. You'll be the person making sure shipments go out right, inventory stays accurate, and the dock stays organized. It's real work with real accountability, and you'll know exactly where you stand every day.
What you'll do
Receiving
- Scan inbound shipments using handheld scanner hardware; match goods to packing slips and crate labels
- Apply pallet and box labels; capture resin weights and lot counts
- Hand receiving packets to Purchasing same day
- Process same-day receipts for international deliveries
Shipping
- Prepare outbound orders per customer shipping terms;
- Book carrier pickups; prepare packing lists and Bills of Lading
- Run an end-of-day check: nothing leaves the dock without paperwork
Warehouse and inventory
- Run daily cycle counts and keep the count log current
- Maintain 5S standards in all warehouse areas
- Manage returns, in-transit bins, and color-coded status stickers
- Monitor warehouse supplies (tape, stretch wrap, pallets, labels) and trigger reorders
- Operate pallet jack; forklift certification strongly encouraged
What we're looking for
- Comfortable working independently on an afternoon/evening shift
- Organized and detail-oriented: packing slips, labels, counts, and paperwork have to match
- Able to stay on your feet and move product on a busy dock
- Basic computer skills; experience with a scanner or ERP system is a plus, not a requirement
- Familiar with WHMIS and general warehouse safety practices
- Pallet jack experience required; forklift certification strongly encouraged
- No specific degree required — reliability and attention to detail matter more
What we offer
- $18.00/hr starting wage
- Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM — Fridays off, every week
- Hands-on training from your first day; you won't be left to figure it out alone
- Small team, no politics: you'll work directly with the Shipping Manager and one other warehouse colleague
- Fantastic benefits
