Job Summary
We are hiring a Certified Reach/Counterbalance Operator for a temp-to-hire warehouse opportunity in the Brampton area. This role is ideal for an experienced forklift operator who is confident working in a fast-paced distribution and manufacturing environment with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, teamwork, and productivity.
The successful candidate will support warehouse order picking, staging, shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and general warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities
- Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders for delivery or pick-up according to scheduled work plans and quality standards.
- Operate reach and counterbalance forklifts safely to move, load, unload, and organize materials within the warehouse.
- Load outbound delivery trucks, count and organize skids, and meet required shipping deadlines.
- Receive inbound shipments, unload trailers, verify purchase order accuracy, break down skids, and prepare inventory for put-away.
- Support cycle counts, bin accuracy, location moves, and inventory projects as required.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, follow all safety procedures, and communicate proactively with supervisors, team leads, and coworkers.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $22.00 per hour.
- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Training requirement: Must be available to train on afternoons this week, 2:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
