As a Review Agent, you will play a critical role in achieving the mission of the MCC.
In support of the MCC examinations, you will be a key player in reviewing and processing various types of documentation, including applications to determine eligibility of candidates. In addition, you will provide timely follow-up communication with candidates and other stakeholders, and always ensure excellent quality of data. As a Review Agent, you play an important role in MCC operations.
Your key responsibilities would include:
Reviews and analyzes documents submitted for source verification and exam eligibility
Make decisions regarding medical credentials, translation requests, other support documents and exam eligibility
Follows up with candidates and external stakeholders where documents do not meet MCC’s criteria
Documents and reports candidate specific information
Identifies complex issues/cases and performs research, gathers information, documents and formulates recommendations to be reviewed in accordance with the team’s escalation process
Sends reviewed documents to external stakeholder (ECFMG) for source verification
Maintains data and document integrity; assuring superior quality of such data, information and correspondence.
As an ideal candidate, you would bring:
Excellent oral and written skills in English; French will be considered a definite asset
Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
2-3 years’ experience providing customer service, preferably in an office environment
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, Excel and the ability to learn and work with internal database systems
Proficiency using the internet to retrieve information quickly
Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to conduct research and to elicit pertinent information from clients
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
Ability to maintain confidentiality and to be tactful and discrete
