Position Summary
Andorix is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our human resources function. This role owns HR strategy, programs, and daily operations, serving as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders while building HR practices that are consistent, compliant, and ready to scale.
Our team spans Canada and the United States. The HR Manager will onboard and support teammates in both countries and help extend that support into new international markets as Andorix grows. The right candidate thrives in a technology and infrastructure environment where priorities may shift, and brings depth across employee relations, talent, performance, compensation, and HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute an HR strategy aligned with Andorix’s business objectives, growth plans, and culture.
- Build scalable HR programs, policies, and processes that support a growing organization.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational structure, and talent strategy.
- Develop HR metrics and reporting that give leadership insight into workforce trends and organizational health.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Lead the full recruitment lifecycle with hiring managers, from workforce planning and job descriptions through sourcing, interviewing, selection, and offers.
- Build candidate pipelines for technical, operational, corporate, and leadership roles, and manage external recruiters as needed.
- Deliver an engaging onboarding experience for new employees in Canada and the US, and design onboarding practices that can extend to future international markets.
- Strengthen Andorix’s employer brand and employee value proposition.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a trusted, confidential resource for employees and managers in both Canada and the US on workplace concerns, policies, performance, and employment matters.
- Manage and investigate employee relations matters fairly and consistently, and recommend appropriate action.
- Lead initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, and retention, including surveys, recognition, and company events.
Performance & Development
- Own the performance management process and coach managers on setting objectives, giving feedback, and addressing performance.
- Identify opportunities for development, career progression, and succession planning, including for emerging leaders.
- Assess training needs and implement development programs that support continuous learning.
Compensation & Benefits
- Administer compensation and benefits programs and manage relationships with providers.
- Review compensation regularly for internal equity and market competitiveness, and partner with leadership on salary reviews, promotions, and bonuses.
- Support payroll with accurate and timely submission of employee information and changes.
Policies, Compliance & Operations
- Develop, maintain, and communicate HR policies, procedures, and employee guidelines.
- Ensure HR practices comply with employment legislation in every jurisdiction where Andorix operates, including Canadian federal and provincial requirements and applicable US requirements, and adapt as the company enters new markets.
- Manage employment documentation and the employee lifecycle from hire through departure, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
- Maintain the HRIS, oversee daily HR operations, and improve HR processes and reporting.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. CHRL designation and the US equivalent, or progress toward it, is an asset.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in technology, engineering, telecommunications, or a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and HR best practices. Experience supporting employees in the US or other countries is a significant asset.
- Practical experience across employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compensation, benefits, and HR policy.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and improving HR systems, processes, and programs.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Comfortable working independently, and proficient with Microsoft 365 and HRIS platforms.

- Established a consistent, scalable HR framework with improved policies, documentation, and compliance practices.
- Strengthened recruitment and onboarding for teammates across the US and Canada.
- Implemented a consistent performance management process.
- Built credible relationships with managers and employees, and reinforced a positive, accountable culture.
- Positioned HR to support Andorix’s growth, including expansion into new international markets.
Pay: $80,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
