Kinesiologist

We're looking for a part-time Kinesiologist to join our progressive multidisciplinary sports medicine team. We help our patients reach their athletic and physical goals, whether that's lowering a marathon time, returning to the field, court, ice, or slopes after an injury, or simply getting back to everyday activities.
A large part of the kinesiology caseload will be ICBC patients. Referrals come from both internal and external sources, so candidates should have experience with moderate to complex injuries and familiarity with the ICBC rehabilitation process.
In this role you'll provide expert assessment and treatment to patients with ICBC claims. Your primary duties will include assessing patients' physical abilities and limitations, developing customized treatment plans, and providing ongoing support throughout the rehabilitation process. You'll work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists and RMTs, to deliver comprehensive care that addresses every aspect of a patient's injury. You'll also maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all patient interactions and treatment plans. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you'll be working closely with patients, their families, and the wider care team.
The ideal candidate is outgoing and excited about building a caseload in the North Vancouver community.
Requirements
- Postsecondary degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics (mandatory)
- Good standing with the BCAK, or willingness to register with the BCAK
- Valid First Aid / AED / CPR certification, or willingness to obtain before starting
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
