Title: Lift Operator
Department: Mountain Operations
Reports to: Lift Supervisors & Lift Operations Manager
Reporting to the Lift Supervisors & Lift Operations Manager, the Lift Operator is responsible for the safe operation of Mt Seymour chair lifts, and to ensure a high standard of service is provided to Mt Seymour guests.
- You can be the smiling, friendly face guests see when they load the chair.
- You can shovel and move snow to create a safe loading and unload ramp.
- You can be prepared for any weather events on a mountain in winter.
- You can assess guests’ needs or requirements when loading/unloading the chair.
- You want to share the stoke with our guests and keep the energy high.
- A positive and friendly attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish strong working relationships with staff, coworkers, and guests.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to provide timely and high-quality service to guests and staff.
- The ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume environment and able to reason and react with quick, thoughtful judgment.
- Willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions while performing labor-intensive duties.
- Must be 18yrs +.
- Seasonal position, December through to mid-April.
- Full-time hourly wage starting at $19.50 per hour.
