WSIB Paralegal
Nicolini Law Group (NLG) is a Vaughan-based full-service personal injury firm (website below). We are seeking a paralegal with 2+ years of experience in advancing claims at the Workplace and Safety Insurance Board (WSIB) and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal (WSIAT). That paralegal will have an opportunity to advocate on behalf of our clients, in both writing and orally.
The candidate is expected to engage in the following tasks:
· Managing and advancing approximately 75 files
· Contact clients to provide updates
· Identify potential areas of entitlement or benefit
· Correspond with WSIB and WSIAT in writing and orally
· Provide written submissions on our positions
· Provide oral submissions at hearings before the WSIB and WSIAT
Must be a Team player but also works efficiently independently.
