Summary
We are seeking dedicated Landscape Laborers to join our team at Drysdale's Tree Farm. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining and enhancing our beautiful landscapes, contributing to various projects that create memorable outdoor experiences for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of landscape features including stone patios and driveways, gardens, lawns, and tree planting.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Dig, plant, and cultivate plants as directed by supervisors.
- In November/December this job will transition into helping with Christmas tree harvest and loading/unloading trucks
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure tools are properly maintained and stored after use.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is an asset.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to landscaping.
Starting wage will be based on prior experience, and will be a minimum $19.00 per hour.
