Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Server/Cook to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role combines customer service with food preparation, requiring a passionate individual who enjoys providing excellent dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience in food handling, cooking, and restaurant operations, ensuring both quality food and exceptional service for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers with professionalism and friendliness, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Take and accurately relay customer orders, providing menu recommendations when needed
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
- Handle food safely, adhering to all food safety regulations and procedures
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, plating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure proper food handling and storage practices to prevent contamination
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy hours
- Restock supplies as needed to maintain smooth restaurant operations
Skills
- Proven experience in serving and food preparation within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation standards
- Excellent food handling skills with an understanding of food safety protocols
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices in kitchen safety and sanitation
- Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued highly
- Can speak rather Spanish or English ( or Both)
