Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing code, mechanical systems, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in various settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan work effectively
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other construction tools to complete tasks
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate installation or repairs
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues before they become major problems
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving carpentry, HVAC, or construction elements
- Read and understand schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot system problems
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and regulations
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and general construction practices
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installation or repairs
- Experience with blueprint reading for accurate project execution
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various environments
- Knowledge of carpentry, HVAC systems, or construction is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues
The ideal candidate should have experience working in residential and commercial service, and drain cleaning. Candidates should be detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Must have a valid drivers license.
