The Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and seasoned HR Business Partner to join our HR team for a 12 – 18 month Contract. In this role, you will support our corporate functions and business leaders by providing a full suite of HR consultation services that include strategic planning, employee relations, talent and change management, and total rewards best practices. As well, you will collaborate with the HR Center of Excellence (COE) and other key partners to create integrated solutions. You will bring a partnership and solution orientated approach to everything that you do and have a knack for balancing employee needs with business objectives.

Partner with business leaders in various client groups to build and maintain a thorough understanding of the business.

Leverage business insights to develop, shape and implement HR solutions to drive both business and employee growth and development.

Help leaders evaluate and implement organizational design and effectiveness opportunities.

Plan and execute change management strategies/initiatives on a variety of business and HR initiatives to ensure best implementation and alignment for the client group.

Provide input into the development of new HR programs and initiatives to serve the business.

Implement talent management initiatives for your specific client groups.

Lead the annual year end compensation cycle for your client groups, helping to ensure equitable decisions are made while staying within the established budgets.

Provide advice and counsel to people leaders & employees alike, ensuring equity, transparency and compliance.
What you bring to the role:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent experience.

5-7 Years’ experience preferably in a HRBP role with corporate client groups. Experience serving both Canadian and US clients a definite asset.

CPG food and beverage experience ideal and/or manufacturing experience an asset.

CHRP certification preferred.

Demonstrated experience as an employee champion, management coach and change agent.

Effective and deliberate communication capabilities with ability to build strong client relationships, provide excellent customer service, problem solve and clearly present complex information.

Sound experience recommending solutions for employment matters, managing conflict, performance coaching, is required.

Must have strong knowledge of federal and provincial employment related laws and regulations within multi-location environment.

Proficient using Human Resource Management systems and Microsoft Suite of products are required.
