Experienced Baker – Good Bread Bakery

About the Role
Good Bread Bakery is looking for a skilled, reliable, and hardworking Baker to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their craft, works well in a fast-paced environment, and understands the importance of consistency, quality, and food safety.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads and baked goods while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads and baked goods according to established recipes and production schedules.
- Accurately measure, mix, proof, shape, and bake products.
- Operate bakery equipment, including mixers, ovens, and proofers.
- Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality.
- Ensure products meet established standards for appearance, texture, and consistency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
- Work effectively with the bakery team to meet daily production targets.
- Help maintain an efficient workflow in a fast-paced production environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a baker, preferably in a commercial or wholesale bakery.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and bakery equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy ingredients, including flour bags.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining consistent product quality.
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Schedule
This position requires flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on production requirements.
