Creates access to the Library’s resources by adding metadata to the Library’s catalogue for newly acquired resources so that these resources can be discovered and used.
Creates metadata for digital objects and other online resources as required by Library initiatives.
Engages in authority control processes to ensure the precise identification of resources and to support the user’s exploration of the catalogue.
- Knowledge of and experience with cataloguing techniques and principles, normally acquired through postsecondary education or equivalent experience in the field of cataloguing
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
