Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis - 60%
- Prepare high-quality financial analyses, models, and insights
- Prepare and present consolidated forecasts and operating results for key stakeholders.
- Perform financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
- Generate reports and conduct financial analysis to assess business performance and identify key drivers.
- Analyze budget against actual results, presenting metrics and insights for decision-making.
- Contribute to board and management reporting, compliance, and governance.
- Collaborate on quarterly and year-end reporting to ensure accurate performance tracking.
Strategic Projects and Business Operations - 20%
- Develop and maintain industry benchmarking and research for financial and operational metrics.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of internal and external business environments to inform strategic decision-making.
- Analyze industry structures, competitive landscapes, and potential acquisition targets.
- Support the development and monitoring of operating business strategies and participate in consolidation project activities.
- Measure performance and conduct post-implementation analysis of business improvement initiatives.
- Develop and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring version control and consistency.
- Collaborate with operating businesses to streamline and systematize processes, driving efficiency and productivity.
- Support deal screening and opportunity evaluation activities.
- Conduct financial analysis as required and support the Letter of Intent (LOI) and M&A processes.
- Support due diligence activities and manage data rooms throughout the transaction process
Merger and Acquisition Support - 20%

Requirements
- University degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related fields.
- CPA designation with 3-5 years of post-designation experience.
- At least 5 years of business operations experience in a comparable role or in position requiring financial analysis and reporting.
- Self-motivated and proactive in managing workload and pursuing professional development.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and research skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, complemented by a strategic mindset and curiosity that goes beyond transactional tasks.
- Highly organized, with strong project management skills and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, complex environment.
- Collaborative and team-oriented, skilled at building relationships across functions and organizations, and a quick learner who understands operating businesses and key drivers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with Oracle EPM is considered an asset.
Pay: $90,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
