Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for managing all external and internal customer interactions in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. The primary focus is to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction and contribute to the organization’s overall sales and marketing objectives. Will also include receiving and shipping out shipments.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales Support
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, demonstrating urgency and professionalism.
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information on products, services, and pricing.
- Follow company-approved pricing structures and strategies when quoting customers.
- Process customer orders efficiently in the ERP system (Odoo), ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Generate timely quotations and proactively follow up to drive sales.
- Collaborate with outside sales representatives to address customer issues and provide tailored solutions.
- Prioritize and manage key accounts while maintaining service levels across all clients.
Communication & Coordination
- Maintain effective communication with internal departments including manufacturing, purchasing, warehouse, shipping/receiving, and administration to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
- Foster a collaborative relationship with outside sales representatives to resolve concerns and align on customer strategies.
Process & Administrative Duties
- Adhere to internal processes related to quoting, contract management, customer relations, and order fulfillment.
- Complete administrative tasks as required to support department operations.
- Ensure all actions comply with company policies and quality assurance procedures.
Shipping & Receiving Duties
- Manage, records and coordinates all daily flow of incoming and outgoing goods, materials and stock
Continuous Improvement & Development
- Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Actively contribute suggestions to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Take ownership of personal training and development, seeking out opportunities for growth and skill advancement.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and a professional appearance at all times.
Quality and Compliance
- Implement and track corrective and preventive actions in alignment with the company’s Quality Program.
- Gather and report customer feedback to support service improvement.
Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Comply with all A.R. Thomson Group Inc. Health & Safety Policies and applicable OH&S legislation.
- Wear designated personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, injuries, or equipment issues to the supervisor and complete required reports.
- Take all reasonable precautions to ensure personal and co-worker safety.
- Actively participate in safety meetings and ongoing Health and Safety Program initiatives.
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
