Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
All duties of a Guest Service Agent including providing superior customer care, check-ins, check-outs, creating/cancelling reservations * Checks front office accounting records for accuracy and compiles information for the hotel’s financial records * Tracks room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office operating statistics. * Prepares summary of cash, check, and credit card activities, reflecting the hotel’s financial performance for the day. * Performs walk-about security checks using stairs midway through shift to ensure no doors are open (guest, storage and exterior), ensure no loiterers in property, notes any repairs/cleaning. * Verifies all account postings and balances. * Summarizes results of operations and prepares reports for management. * Prepares and sets up and stocks continental breakfast in the absence of the breakfast attendant. * Folds and washes/dries laundry when needed. * Performs other duties as assigned. Experience or exposure in a Guest Service position is an asset * Experience or exposure to a Hotel environment is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS: * Experience in the service industry an asset, but we will train the right individual * Stable Work History * High level of care, enthusiasm, and energy * Creative, detail oriented, independent team player * Flexible schedule available 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays.
