Position Title: Heavy Equipment Operator
Reports To: Roads & Drainage Foreperson

Length of Position: Permanent Full-Time
Summary: Operates and maintains heavy equipment.
DUTIES:
- Operates and maintains heavy equipment such as;
– Front-end Loader
– Compactor
– Grader
– Excavator
– Tandem and Three-ton Trucks
- Maintains assigned equipment, tools, and vehicles
- Logs and records information such as pre-trip vehicle inspections
- Performs labour and other tasks as required

EDUCATION:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with air brake endorsement
- Fireman Boiler Operator Certificate
EXPERIENCE AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- 1 year of relevant work experience
- Ability to drive standard transmission vehicles

SALARY
Based on a salary of $ 34.24 per hour, as per 2026 CUPE rates.
