Position Description
We are currently seeking a motivated, hardworking individual for our Class 1 Driver role in our 9203 Rock Island Road, Prince George, BC location.
Position Responsibilities
- Complete all required paperwork from customer orders.
- Review quality standards to ensure that products are delivered with high quality and on time.
- Provide excellent customer service by listening to customers’ needs and providing solutions or suggestions that meet their needs and expectations.
- Handle customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Operate all equipment in a safe, defensive and courteous matter at all times.
- Ensure cleanliness of the equipment.
- Meet and comply with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. (i.e. pre-trip and post-trip inspections, wearing of PPE and reports incidents to the Branch Manager in a timely manner.)
- Maintain Log books according to rules and regulations.
- Adhere to performance standards as set out by the company (i.e. safe driving record and environmental incident record).
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
- High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
- Valid Prince George, BC driver's license - Class 1, Clean drivers abstract
- Ability to travel out of town two to three nights a week
- Ability to pass a drug test, and background check(s)
- Ability to work overtime at the discretion of Environmental 360 Solutions
- Professional driving experience an asset
- Experience in commercial driving; 1 year required
- Waste industry experience is an asset
- Excellent customer service skills
