We are looking for a reliable and experienced Painter to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional painting experience, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves residential and/or commercial painting projects with a focus on quality workmanship and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming)
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, tape, and masking
- Ensure clean and professional finishes on all projects
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Follow safety procedures and job site guidelines
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of painting experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to work at heights (ladders/scaffolding) when required
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Some skimming/taping experience is a plus
