True North Automotive is an automotive and fleet repair facility who service many of the largest fleets in Alberta. We are looking for motivated individuals who take pride in quality workmanship and want to be part of one of the fastest-growing fleet operations in the region.
As the largest fleet maintenance company in Fort McMurray, we build and service hard-working fleet trucks for the oil sands industry.
Responsibilities:
Install the following equipment on trucks to ensure they are site ready
- Headache Racks
- Lighting Packages
- Buggy Whips
- Toolboxes
- Running Boards
- Mud Flaps
- Mine Safety Equipment
- Decals and accessories
Other duties will include:
- 12 volt wiring and electrical installs
- Read and follow work orders
- Conduct quality inspections
- Maintain clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude, strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Experience with hand tools and power tools used in vehicle repair
- 12V electrical experience considered an asset
- Fabrication or welding experience considered an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
